How to install Secure Telegram

npm

claude mcp add -e TELEGRAM_MCP_ENDPOINT_TOKEN=<your-telegram-mcp-endpoint-token> secure-telegram-mcp -- npx -y [email protected]

Or add it to your MCP config (Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code):

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "secure-telegram-mcp": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": [
        "-y",
        "[email protected]"
      ],
      "env": {
        "TELEGRAM_MCP_ENDPOINT_TOKEN": "<your-telegram-mcp-endpoint-token>"
      }
    }
  }
}

Environment variables:
TELEGRAM_MCP_ENDPOINT_TOKEN (required) – The endpoint's API key. Run 'npx secure-telegram-mcp setup' in a terminal first: it logs in to Telegram and prints the key once.

Replace placeholders in <angle brackets> with your own values. Review what a server can access before you enable it.
