How to install INSSIST

npm

Environment variables:
INSSIST_MCP_PORT – Loopback port the INSSIST extension dials to reach this server.
INSSIST_MCP_HOME – Directory holding the pairing token file (mcp-pairings.json). Defaults to ~/.inssist.

Replace placeholders in <angle brackets> with your own values. Review what a server can access before you enable it.
