How to install Chronicle MCP

Python (uvx)

claude mcp add chronicle-mcp -- uvx chronicle-mcp-server==1.6.2

Environment variables:
CHRONICLE_BASE_DIR – Folder for the chat archive and search index. Defaults to ~/.chronicle (or the folder saved with chronicle --chats-folder).
TRANSCRIPTS_DIR – Override folder scanned by sync_workspace_data(source_type='agent_transcripts'). Defaults to each editor's own transcript folder.

Replace placeholders in <angle brackets> with your own values. Review what a server can access before you enable it.
